Summary of Changes from Previous Version
• Adding a summary of UOW’s short course features, that aligns with the National Microcredential Framework requirements.
• Clarification of the distinction between credit bearing and non-credit bearing microcredentials
• Amendment to the approval pathway for a non-credit bearing Microcredential, increasing faculty flexibility to nominate the endorsement pathway. The approval pathway for a microcredential which leads to credit towards an award course remains unchanged, requiring FEC endorsement and Executive
Dean approval.
• Clarification and additional information have been added to provide detail about available certification/ validation options, fee setting and refunds and quality assurance measures.
