Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Key Changes, rename of the Academic Quality Policy
Scope widened to cover a broader range of quality assurance processes across the entire
institution.
Revised quality principles.
New section on accountabilities and responsibilities – more emphasis on executive
responsibilities and governance accountability.
New section on QA of research and research training.
Policy provisions relating to student evaluation of learning and teaching removed – to
become a separate, standalone policy.
Proposal to rescind the ESOS Compliance Policy.
