Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The WHS Guidelines for WIL (Professional Experience) have been developed to establish a consistent and effective approach to managing student safety and wellbeing while on professional experience. They were first developed in draft in response to a recommendation from an internal risk audit conducted by KPMG in 2018. They aim to improve the safety of UOW students on professional experience through the development of a consistent approach to risk identification and management with Host Organisations as well as the management of WHS incidents involving UOW students.
