Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The revised Framework Policy has been updated as follows:
• The list of policies applying to UOWD has been updated.
• The policy now notes the intention of the parties to work towards a single policy framework across the two campuses having regard to the regulator for higher education in the UAE, the Commission for Academic Accreditation, determining that UOWD is a branch campus of UOW.
• The policy for the first time notes a common set of policies on assessment based on a decision by UOWD to adopt the UOW teaching and assessment policy suite in 2024.
• The policy has been updated to reflect the move towards issuing all UOWD students studying UOW courses with UOW testamurs, a move that will see the phase out of the old system of tradability of testamurs.
