Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first document to be published in the University's new Policy Library. It is basically equivalent to the document that was approved and effect at the time the migration occurred, except for the numbering system and references, which have been updated to align with the new formatting and current requirements.

1 - 7 October 2016 - University Council - New Policy introduced as part of suite of Teaching and Assessment Policy documents to replace the Code of Practice – Teaching and Assessment.

2 - 10 August 2018 - University Council - Updates to the Subject Monitoring Requirements. Minor amendments for clarity and in the subject information checklist.

3 - 21 February 2019 - Vice-Chancellor - Minor amendments to clause 8 to delete the recommended wording regarding statements for Learning Analytics, Turnitin, Academic Integrity Policy and Assessment Quality Cycle and place these in the UOW Subject Outline Template.

4 - June 2019 - Vice-Chancellor - Consequential amendments resultant from changes to Standards for the Finalisation of Student Results.

5 - 1 January 2020 - (Approved 9 June 2020) - Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) - Administrative amendments to reflect the rescission of General Course Rules replaced by Coursework Rules.

6 - 6 July 2020 - Vice-Chancellor - Consequential amendments resulting from changes to the Honours Policy.

7 - August 2020 - Vice-Chancellor - Updates to the Policy, to include new provisions for the mandatory recording of lectures in recording enabled venues.
